SIGNS AND IMAGES OF TRADITIONAL WORSHIP

Since 1994, as part of the “Farmers’ Festival" held each year on the first weekend in September, Cooperativa CLAI organises the “Signs and images of traditional worship” exhibition in the Palatine Chapel of Palazzo Mongardi in Sasso Morelli (Imola). The aim is to rediscover and transmit traditional religious aspects still practiced in our community today, their roots founded on Christian tradition and countryside beliefs, through an exhibition of objects and artistic works that span generations. The intention of promoting these traditions is a consolidated commitment of the farming cooperative to handing down these values and keeping them alive. This not so much to take a nostalgic look at the past, but rather to study the historic roots and traditional culture, to trigger action in business operations today that targets a new, strong social and economic development, essential to improving the overall quality of our rural community.
