Useful data for navigation

While browsing our website we collect some of your personal data, for example, the IP address of the pc, or the domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, the URI/URL notation addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment.

We use them for statistical purposes, to improve our website, to protect the safety of users' browsing. We process this data on the basis of our and your legitimate interest (Art. 6 lit. f, GDPR).

There is also a login area on our site. The area is for business operators only.

In this case we process your data (user ID and personal data associated with your credentials) to allow you to access the restricted area. All this is done to fulfill contractual measures (art. 6(b)), so without your consent.

Data collected through forms

CONTACT US FORM, in which case we will process your personal and contact information (first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, etc.).

We process this data in order to fulfill your contact request. We process this data without your consent, in accordance with what the GDPR allows us to do (Art. 6(b)).

The time strictly necessary to process the request. Anyway, no more than 12 months.

In this case we will collect data relating to your work experience, your personal and contact data, some data relating to your state of health (if you belong to protected categories).

We process this data in order to evaluate your application. Treat:

ü Your common data in accordance with Article 111-bis of Legislative Decree 196/2003, within the limits of the purposes set out in Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR;

Your particular data (e.g. belonging to protected categories) in light of the Provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority no. 146 of 5 June 2019.

FORM SUBSCRIBE TO THE CLAI HOUSE COMMUNITY, in which case we will process your e-mail address so that we can send you communications about the latest proposals, campaigns and promotions that CLAI makes available to you.

We process this data without your express consent because you are the one who requested to subscribe to our newsletter and we will only process your e-mail address to send you promotional communications and not for any other purpose (Art. 6(b), although free of charge.

36 months from the time of last interaction with our communications.

E-commerce

 On our site you can also purchase our products. In this case we will process your contact information to arrange shipping and your payment information to finalize your purchase. The payment information is handled by our provider Shopify which guarantees secure transactions.

Following your purchase of our products, we will place you on our mailing list to send you discount codes and offers reserved for you or initiatives that we think may be of interest to you (e.g., new store openings, etc.).

We process data referable to commercial transactions without the need for your consent because we are following up on a purchase request, therefore executing a contract (Art. 6(b)).

 

Your e-mail and name, on the other hand, are processed on the basis of Clai's legitimate interest in that you are our customer and we will only send you material related to your purchase (asrt. 6, lett. f). You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of each e-mail you receive.

Restricted Area

You can also create a personal account on our site to more easily manage your orders and improve your shopping experience. In this case we collect your e-mail address, your first and last name, and the password you choose (the password is your personal one and we could not in any way see it, but it will be used by the system, automatically, to allow you to log in).

We process this data without the need for your consent because we are following up on an account creation request, therefore executing a contract (art. 6(b)), albeit free of charge.

Until you request deletion of the account, and in any case not more than 5 years from the last access performed.

Social buttons

You will also find social buttons on our site: small icons that link to the various social networks we manage (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube).

Whenever you click on one of these social buttons you will be directed to the site of the social platform owner who will act as an autonomous data controller. We encourage you, therefore, to read the information of these owners to receive information on how your data will be processed.

How do we process your data and who can access it?

The processing of your data is carried out in accordance with the Regulation and with the methods and tools that we consider most suitable to preserve your privacy.

In addition to us, in some cases, other parties involved in the organization of this Site (administrative staff, sales, system administrators, etc.) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) appointed, in the cases provided for by law, as Data Processors by us, may have access to the data. You can obtain the complete list of data processors by writing to us at our e-mail address. We will not disclose your data.

 

Where is your data?

We process your data on both European and U.S. soil. We have chosen partners that guarantee security levels related to data processing, either by signing Standard Contractual Clauses or by verifying that partners are enrolled in the Data Privacy Framework List.

 

What are your rights?

As a data subject, you have the right to obtain, in the cases provided for, access to your personal data and the rectification or erasure thereof or the restriction of processing concerning them or to object to processing (to know what all your rights are, you can consult the Regulations in Articles 15 et seq.). Right to lodge a complaint

Should you feel that the processing violates your rights in any way, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, as provided for in Article 77 of the GDPR, by checking the modalities on the website www.garanteprivacy.it.

 

Protecting Children's Privacy

This website is intended for a general audience, however, its services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not solicit, collect, use or disclose personal information provided by anyone under the age of 18 online. If we discover that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
